Child-Friendly Islamic Boarding School (CFIBS): Realizing Humanistic Goals of Islamic Education

Child-Friendly Islamic Boarding Schools (CFIBS) have emerged as a forum for realizing education's humanistic goals, especially in educating and caring students. Proper correct education upbringing dramatically determine the quality of individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also noble attitudes behaviour. This study aims to analyze model protecting children from violence carried out by IMMIM School Nahdlatul 'Ulum Makassar perspective Education. Qualitative methods, field approaches were used, data obtained through comprehensive observation, in-depth interviews supported literature studies. Inductive analysis techniques source triangulation validity. The research results show that two boarding schools implemented child protection various ways, such parenting accompaniment (musyrif), curriculum learning processes, facilities infrastructure, public services, regulation, problem-solving.
